Strong all-rounder
DJI's Osmo Action range is the main rival to GoPro. It's known for strong low-light performance, long battery life and a quick-release magnetic mounting system that makes swapping between mounts fast.
DJI
Best for Low light and the best DJI image quality
DJI's latest flagship has a large 1/1.1-inch square sensor with a variable aperture, records up to 8K30, and is waterproof to 20m without a case.
DJI
Best for Strong all-rounder at a lower price than the newest flagships
The previous DJI flagship is still a strong all-rounder, with 4K at up to 120fps, a 1/1.3-inch sensor, dual touchscreens and 20m waterproofing.
DJI
Best for Hands-free point-of-view footage
A tiny magnetic wearable camera that clips to clothing or a cap, with a detachable dock that adds a screen and extra battery life.
The camera itself has no screen; the screen is on the detachable dock. The dock is splash-resistant (IPX4), not waterproof.
DJI
Best for Vlogging and travel on dry land
A pocket gimbal camera for vlogging and travel rather than rough sports, with a 1-inch sensor, a mechanical gimbal and a rotating screen.
Not waterproof, so it's not a rugged action camera.
